Our Vision
Our Mission
We envision a society where people living with autism are appreciated for their individual talents and abilities and have access to the support they need to lead productive and happy lives.
The mission of Rocco's Voice for Autism is to personally connect with the families of children with autism and to provide those families opportunities that go beyond funded services or that which the family can afford.
Who is Rocco’s Voice for Autism?
Rocco's Voice for Autism, was founded in 2017 by Mr. Sonny Spagnuolo and his family. The organization was born from the personal journey of the Spagnuolo family, whose son, Rocco, was diagnosed with autism in 2013. Their experience inspired them to establish a platform to give back to others facing similar challenges.
Mr. Spagnuolo has been an active member in the Plainedge Community for many years and he is an advocate for his son and other children with special needs across Long Island. Over the last few years, Rocco’s Voice for Autism has built an inclusive playground in N. Massapequa, installed Communication Boards in Town Parks across the Town of Oyster Bay and provided scholarships to students to help alleviate the financial burden associated with attending colleges and universities. The organization works hard to provide children with disabilities both educational and social opportunities where every child with special needs can thrive.
